Sibling Ties is officially incorporated as a Nevada nonprofit corporation. Our federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt determination is pending.

When everything else changes, siblings shouldn't have to let go of each other.

Sibling Ties is a Nevada nonprofit being built to keep brothers and sisters together in foster care — under one roof, growing up as family, instead of scattered across separate placements.

Our story

Sibling Ties Inc. is organized to be operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Our mission is to preserve the bond between sibling groups within the foster care system by providing a safe, nurturing, and stable environment where they can heal, grow, and remain together.

Foster care already asks a lot of a child — a new home, a new school, new routines, new adults to trust. We believe the relationship between brothers and sisters shouldn't be one more thing a child has to lose in the process.

Not every home has room to keep siblings together. We're working to change that, one larger home at a time.

Why this matters in Nevada

Every number below is a child waiting for a stable place to land — and, for the sibling groups we exist to serve, a brother or sister waiting to stay with them.

What we're building

Our founder has been a foster parent since 2019 and runs a licensed four-bed family foster home today. Our first goal is to help that home grow into a larger residence for up to six children, the most a family foster home can be licensed for in Nevada, with a van so siblings can travel together. We're aiming to lease the larger home in May 2027, if funding and licensing allow. Here's what that program will include.

A larger home

Securing and preparing a larger home, with furnishings and safety equipment, so a sibling group can live under one roof instead of being split across separate placements.

Sibling preservation

Support built specifically around keeping brothers and sisters connected, not as an afterthought to placement.

Educational support

Advocacy and coordination to keep school stable for kids who are already managing a lot of change.

Healthcare coordination

Working alongside counseling, behavioral-health, and medical providers so care stays coordinated, not fragmented.

Life skills

Preparing older youth for greater independence as they grow toward adulthood.

Permanency support

Working toward reunification or another stable, lasting family outcome for every sibling group.

Community & recreation

Regular opportunities for connection, play, and simply being kids together.

Transportation

A van so brothers and sisters can travel together to school, appointments and family visits.

Ways to give

Sibling Ties is now officially incorporated, and we've received our federal Employer Identification Number.
